Matt Mauser, a single father of three, stood on the *AGT* stage with a heavy heart and a story that moved everyone.

Just a few years after losing his wife in the tragic helicopter crash involving Kobe Bryant, he took a deep breath and began singing Phil Collins’ classic *Against All Odds*.

Matt Mauser, who has faced immense personal loss, also performed at the latest *America’s Got Talent* audition.

Last year, he tragically lost his wife, the mother of his three children, in the same helicopter crash that claimed Kobe Bryant’s life. Music and singing, with the support of his friends, provided him with solace during this difficult time.
