In a world where generational gaps often lead to differences in career paths, Seka Black and her daughter Nessi are breaking the mold in a shocking way — they both work in the adult entertainment industry.
And surprisingly, they support each other every step of the way.
In an eye-opening YouTube video, Seka Black, 70, and Nessi, 23, revealed the unexpected journey that led them both into the world of adult content creation.
Seka, a prominent American pornographic actress, rose to fame in the 1980s as the “Platinum Princess of Porn.” Known for her striking looks and charismatic presence, she became one of the industry’s biggest stars. In 2013, she released an autobiography titled Inside Seka, where she opened up about her life and career.
Born and raised with two siblings, a brother and a sister, Seka had what she described as a “plain, normal childhood.” Her family later relocated to Hopewell, Virginia, where she was known by the nickname “Dottie.”
During her high school years at Hopewell High, Seka’s beauty and charm earned her recognition when she won a local beauty pageant. This success led to her being crowned Miss Southside Virginia, further cementing her status as a rising star in her community.
Seka’s early life in Virginia laid the foundation for her eventual entry into the adult entertainment world, where she would go on to become an iconic figure.
”I retired from accounting and now we’re having fun,” Seka shared, explaining her own entrance into adult entertainment.
But Nessi’s journey took a more unexpected turn. She recalled a family trip to Disneyland when she first discovered what her mother did for a living. While browsing through her mom’s phone, Nessi stumbled upon some explicit messages.
”It was the last thing in my head I thought you would be doing, but once I put the puzzle pieces together I thought it was very cool,” Nessi admitted.
”Because that’s something I had kind of always been interested in, but I didn’t want to jump into the industry too young.”
At 18, Nessi started exploring adult camming sites but didn’t fully commit to creating content until around the age of 20.
Today, both women are making adult content on platforms like OnlyFans, with Seka taking things a step further by starring in films for major adult film studios.
While they don’t collaborate directly, they both find ways to support each other. Seka’s husband — Nessi’s father — is behind the scenes, helping with video production and editing.
“Daddy is my video photographer, editor… so we have fun together,” Seka laughed.
Despite coming from different generations, they each bring unique skills to the table. Nessi assists her mother with social media, while Seka guides her daughter through the business side of the adult entertainment world.
”At that time we were even trying to help you with advice! But this younger generation is better at the technology than what we are,” Seka said.
Nessi’s leap into the adult industry came after leaving a traditional job that she wasn’t happy with.
“I wasn’t happy with my job at the condo so I was like, ‘I’m just gonna try OnlyFans,’” she explained. Her mother encouraged her to take the plunge, saying, “Go for it!”
And unlike many parents, Seka and her husband were fully supportive of Nessi’s decision to join OnlyFans, with no objections at all.
Yet, despite the family’s strong bond in the adult entertainment industry, things aren’t always easy. Nessi revealed that it can get awkward when her mom’s fans reach out to her on Instagram.
Seka’s popularity in the industry has grown significantly — she was recently nominated for an AVN Award, often dubbed the ”Oscars of porn.” Although she didn’t win, she made a stunning statement on the red carpet in a sparkling ruby-red gown.
When asked about retirement, Seka said she plans to continue in the industry for at least five more years. ”I let each day come and go and I just wing it!” she said with a smile.
